Hello! My name is Anita Van Rooyen, and I love to paint, draw, and sketch. For most of my adulthood, I've been creating unique pieces of artwork for friends, family, and clients – art that illustrates my clients' lives and loves and reminds them of their fondest memories, or their favorite places or hobbies, or a beloved family member.
I have lived in Missouri most of my life and have been in Northwest Arkansas for 10 years now! I love living in the Ozarks and am very inspired by the natural landscapes, rivers and also the homegrown Arkansas music.
Painting, especially live, is one of my favorite things to do!

When I am not making art I love to do things outdoors with my family and pets. My husband and I are both foodies and are always willing to try new foods. I enjoy all kinds of music and LOVE to dance. You can catch me doing a little jig when I'm painting sometimes. If you ever see me out and about please introduce yourself, never a bad time to make a new friend!
