A: Live painting is a distinctive and engaging process where the artist creates a painting on-site at the event, capturing the atmosphere, key moments, and essence as they unfold. At AVR Art and Live Painting, this service is primarily offered for weddings and significant events. Anita expertly combines observation and creativity to produce an original piece of art that serves both as a cherished keepsake and an enhancement to the event ambiance for guests.

Booking a live painter with AVR Art Live Painting begins with an initial consultation on the phone or email to discuss your event details, artistic preferences, and specific requirements.
After this, a tailored proposal is provided, outlining the scope, pricing, and timelines. Once agreed upon, a signed contract and a deposit secure your booking.
The deposit is 50% of the cost agreed upon price including travel. The remainder of the payment will be due a week before the event. The deposit is paid via the website, Venmo, Paypal or cash/check.
On the event day, Anita sets up her materials in a designated space 2-3 hours before the event to lay down a sketch and background details. Overall the painting will be done in 4-10 hours. If additional details are being added, the painting will be sent back once done, dry and varnished.
